Route itinirary - print this and bring with you
 

I managed to put together an itinirary based on the route described in my earlier e-mail. This ecompasses STOP points/Pit Stops/Photo Op locations and areas where we can re-group and have us "slo-pokes" catch up with the "Young Guns Speedsters". We may want to group the more spirited drivers ahead of those that just want to meander thru the course at a slower less aggressive pace. I don't want to cramp anyone's style by being in front of them,...LOL!

See Word Doc Attachment - print and bring with you. I'll have extras if needed.

Would you mind giving us the addresses you entered in on your Tomtom and in what order?

It was a headache that's for sure. What I ended up doing was constructing the itinerary by going intersection to intersection of the roads on the TomTom screen. I'll check tonight for GPS coordinates and post them if I can.

LOL yea... sounds like a hassle.

I went back and included a version of the trip intinerary (Word Doc) with GPS coordinates for those of you who may need them.

I ran over wet paint on the road!!!!!

I've got a huge white splat on my tire and which splats on the side of my car!

So pissed off right now... sigh...

Side note, spoke with Metz, he ain't coming.

Getting ready... First Oil change got done today now she just needs a bath.. Ready to see some more Zss!!

I didn't do an oil change because I am a lazy ****! Not to mention Giles Nissan wants $21/qt for ester oil.

I'm almost in the same boat - Friday, I'm supposed to have that gouge made by the dealership on the back of my Z when they were putting on their nametag get fixed... I feel like she's going thru open heart surgery! I have to drop her off in the morning then come back later in the day to pick her up...!! Yeah, Blood pressure is already UP!

Well thankfully the paint came off with about an hour of me scrubbing.

I'm going to do an oil change tonight my maintenance warning came on yesterday as I was driving to dinner.

I wish I had time to change my trans and diff fluid, but oh well... it can wait.

Changed the oil today, did a few new things to the car, gotta get up early tomorrow to clean it up and I'll be good to go!

I was going to clean it tonight but a random thunderstorm came through and ruined that.

After I cleaned mine yesterday (and placed my FAIRLADY nametag on the rear deck :cool:), I shined the tires and then drove my Titan around, then my Altiima. The Z was kept in pristine condition for today... and today is here at last... :happydance:

Yay! It was awesome to meet everyone, esp those who drove from far away!!

All in all I had a really good time, it was nice to see all of the 370s in one place!

Sucks that Kaien bent his wheels... :-(

I'll find someone that can fix them dude, I know that if I bent my wheels I would probably cry.

Anyway, I didn't bring a camera so I'll wait for someone to post up some pics!

BTW, I had my GoPro film the last run we did, it looks really good except for all of the terrible wind noise. :-/

Had a blast, loved the route, we should surely do it again. It would be cool if we could do it once every three months or so when it's hot. Maybe more often when it cools down and some track fun...

Have to Thank Bucketman for stepping in at the beginning and at the end of the cruise to keep me straight. Seems I took a few wrong turns along the way (even when I was not behind the wheel.... chuckle..!!!)

Had a great time and can't wait to go back. It was nice meeting some fellow Z enthusiasts. :tiphat:


P.S. Next time we shouldn't invite that cop to join our caravan......lol.

It may not have been the tail of the dragon. It was the mouth of the gator, as it took a big azz bite out of my wheels.

From now on it shall be known as just that: The Mouth of the Gator Run...

Maybe next time do a dry slow and stop run on the gator. To clear all the big crap out of the road. Any vids to put up?? Even if you have to turn the sound down some.

LOL that cop scared the piss out of me... I came over that hump and was like ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Then I saw him pull out behind me and I was sure he was going to pull me over.

Thankfully... that wasn't the case.

Side note, I bought a beater daily little Civic! Time for me to get 35mpg again and have a parts hauler! w00t!

Where the hell was he? I didn't really see any side roads or anything. Did RedManNismo make it back ok? He was a few Z'z back, then type took his exit and i didn't see Red again...
