I read somewhere that the additive package used to make CA 91 ends up lowering the octane, so in effect it's only 89-90 octane. Is there any truth to this?

I read somewhere that the additive package used to make CA 91 ends up lowering the octane, so in effect it's only 89-90 octane. Is there any truth to this? Would you guys get CARBraped if you set up a meth kit to get up to 93 or higher?
