JDRF Walk to Cure Type 1

Hello Everyone,

I will be walking again this year at the Ontario JDRF 5k walk to help find a cure for Type 1 diabetes. We were touched by this as my daughter three years ago was treated for being type 1. We are insulin dependent and hope to help to find a cure.

When is the walk? I want to donate, but want to make sure I don't miss a cut off date.
I've been type 1 for almost 40 years.

Yes, in Ontario 5k it will be fun to walk with my daughter and have her see others pumping.

Thanks for walking and working with your daughter. It's very important to keep involved with her treatment and mostly keep her accountable. I didn't have that. I think my parents were in as much denial as I was and things were not as advanced when I first got Diabetes.

Wish I could be there to walk with you.
