Recommendations of places to go to get parts/work done in So.Cal

Need a recommendation for a good audio place over at the SGV/626 area. Anyone know a place? I see all the recommendations are fairly far away from me...

Costco. Prices are good, selection is left to only MAJOR brands (Not Hankook or lower) and IF the screw anything up. They'll pay, no questions asked
And nitrogen fill, mount/balance install. $15, can't beat that

reason why i didnt consider costco is because of the horror story i heard, from scratching the wheels to damaging the side skirts.

but i will definitely do some research on them. thanks for the suggestion

I've never... Well... I've never HEARD of one compared to the many I have heard from America's Tire Co...

But they did raise my ISF and the lift touched the side skirts, they said and URGED me to get brand new side skirts painted and installed. I literally couldn't see the damage even if I tried looking for it. So I didn't/couldn't do it. I really wouldn't have known if they didn't tell me.

For tires, brakes, suspension, alignment, etc work I recommend Zuby's brakes wheels and tires in Garden Grove. I've been going there for years and all the dealers around him trust him enough to contract some of their work to him. Pete the owner and Leo his manager are knowledgeable and friendly. It's the honesty that's hard to find around mechanics and these guys I trust. They even do other work for me frequently (electrical, body, etc.) Check their yelp reviews also, it seems to help when I check reviews before visiting other places.

Wheel Warehouse in Anaheim. Ask for Adam. Ask him to match meet or beat Tire Rack. They have been around since forever, have all the equipment to do large expensive wheels ECT.

125 W La Palma Ave, Anaheim, CA 92801
(714) 772-1281

I think they have a program where if you refer a friend they give you a credit for next time. If you go PM so I can give you my name LOL.

Has anyone been to Auto Explosion in Gardena? A friend has a friend who highly recommends for paint and their Yelp reviews look really good.

Judging by that name, I wouldn't go there for any engine work!

Just checked their web site, looks like they're a good place to go for body work
Auto Explosion Body Shop - Custom & Collision Center - 13805 Normandie Avenue Gardena, CA 90249 - (310) 329-6691 - Auto Body Refinish, Custom Body & Paint

Just got my car detailed by Joe (Owner) at Superior Shine. Car was dirty as F due to the rain and the semi flooded canyon road i took to work.

Car looks brand new again so just giving a shoutout to Joe at Superior Shine and you guys can contact him if you are not able to wash/detail the Z yourself.
