Allright dude so here goes, Sorry to hear your going through this but I really hope you covered yourself and got something in writting with reguards to the aftermarket equipment being warranted by nissan,or in this case, fontana nissan. If not, you should speak with Scott as mentioned in prior posts as those aftermarket items more than likely flowed through that parts department. You have to see it from the dealers side too, they seem like theyre trying to help out based on what you posted, but your average service writter does NOT deal with aftermarket items on a new car. Now couple the fact that youve gone through 2? 3? different "advisors", and you have the situation you're in now. FYI, sales people are aren't going to be much help as they are generally in... SALES. Hope you get those issues ironed out as I went through something similar to this with my previous car and I know this can really sour any new/used car purchase.

I've been there and Met Scott, Danny, and Frank all are great guys, and I have nothing negative to say. Sorry for your situation but I'm pretty sure they will get it right. Remind them you're a board member on here, and Good Luck

hey thnx for the kind words will do that :hello:

I can personally vouch for fontana nissan. Gus, Scott, Chris, Frank and Dom have been nothing but helpful.
I actually had an issue today, I don't think I should go into detail but let's just say that it had something to do with water and aftermarket parts and they worked it out for me.

THANKS AGAIN GUYS.

^^ :iagree:
From your post, it sounded like you were speaking to the sales people instead of the service guys. Try speaking to Gus in Service or Scott in parts.

Frank has been nothing but top notch in helping me out with my car, and Jerome has also been very responsive. I've nothing but good things to say about Fontana Nissan. Hope you get it worked out with them. Please make sure you talk to at least Scott or Frank before you start throwing things out there though. And to be fair, you are acknowledging you have aftermarket parts, parts a typical Nissan warranty would not cover (LEDs in your headlights, aftermarket navi, etc.) which puts most dealerships in a bind already. Fontana is already trying to help you out, which is a plus in my book.

Not a derail...but who's Jerome? I've been there so many times but I never met a Jerome.

phelan 11-10-2010 01:42 AM

Jerome Porter?

I dunno, the past two times I took the car for service, I spoke with Frank and Jerome.
