OK guys, Zdayz 2014 is coming up quickly, a d I know there's a lot of people that are wanting to go for the first time and didn't know that you have to snag a room wayyyy before now. I also know that there are gonna be some people that had a room reserved and won't be able to go after all. So this thread is made so that the new people and those that didn't plan ahead can post that they need a room, and anyone that can help them out can speak up and hopefully work something out.

Now before you say it, I know that there won't be a lot of rooms opening up, and there are places to stay half an hour to an hou away, and this might only help a few people, but even if only two or three people can find lodgings through this thread then I'm happy. That's the whole spirit of Zdayz anyway right? Brotherhood, comraderie and all that jazz.

Anyway, if someone knows of a room or bed or a spot on the floor opening up, SPEAK UP!

Before you ask... My cabin is incredibly full.

Awesome idea for a thread! Especially considering this will be my first zdayz and I am in need of a room. If anyone could spare some couch/floor space you will be compensated!

Hey whatever I can do to help guys! I remember hearing one of the fpgzc guys saying that a few of their people had dropped out, so there might be one or two spots open there.

I'm staying at Nantahala Village and have a reservation. My buddy who was going to head down with me is no longer able to take the trip with me. The room is about 140 bucks per night and I now have an extra bed available. The reservation is Wed - Sat.

No problem man, just trying to help out the best I can. I know there's always the first timers who don't realize what a precious commodity a room is during Zdayz lol. Hopefully more people get to go because of this thread. Make sure to find the CFZC party cabin #469 and come say hi to us! We're on the corner directly across from the rec hall!

My couch just became available. I have the cabin from Wednesday night and check out Sunday morning. Today is my last day of dependable internet before my next stop. So if anyone is interested, please pm me your phone number.

Alright guys, time to bump this thread from the dead for another year of Zdayz!! I can't wait! I already know of a few people that are looking for a room, or looking to see if there are any cabins available to be rented from someone else. I am possibly in the market for a 3 bedroom cabin or larger.

Khoi and I have a few people who we'd like to stay with us this year but the "party cabin" is only a 2 bedroom. so therefore space being limited we are thinking about going bigger and better. obviously this includes the size of our parties as well :tiphat:

well Huck the ditch incident was your own fault. you staggered off our porch and said "I got this"......not so much lol

I remember something about that, you're probably right. Vodka, whiskey, tequila, rum and moonshine all in the space of a couple hours will do that to you...

and a lot of fireball for the whiskey portion of that lol :bowrofl:

This should be by my first ZDayZ and I am looking for someone to share a room with. Waiting to see how much money I'm getting back on my tax return before I can commit 100% to going though. That should take like another month at most.

Well I've wanted to come for a while, but I kept having things come up during ZDayZ week. Finals for 2 years, New job, and then buying a house last year. Only thing that will keep me from going this year is finances. If I get a decent amount on my tax return, I can commit to going. Luckily at Hopkins, the finals end the week before ZDayZ and not the week of.

Yeah this is probably the last year I'd be able to go with the Z too.

Yeah I'm gonna try to go every year whether or not I still have the Z. Most likely though, I won't have it next year.

I'm looking for room too or to share a room, cabin, etc.. Everything at the resort looks to be booked. I wanted to go last year but I was in the process of building a new house so the timing was not right.

I'm searching for a room as well. Does anybody have suggestions for the best places to stay off the resort that will be near everything?

Planning on attending this year, on the list at the Fontana Village Resort: and have been since last year. If I get something, or it opens Ill let you all know. If nothing opens up by March may be looking for a spot myself.

Where do most people stay besides Fontana Village Resort?

Zman theres a few different places around that area but I honestly can't remember any of the names at the moment. Basically anything withing a 10-15 mile radius will work lol.

seems to be a lot of people needed laces and no one giving any up this year. i'm not surprised but it's still early.

I think last year people didn't pop up with cabins to give up until march.
