I vote for 10am since the roads will be less crowded and there is a lesser chance of rain in the morning (I'm no weatherman, but T-storms usualy pop-up in the PM), but I understand that there are some that need to travel from afar, so later will work as well for me.

If we have about the same number of cars as we did last weekend (7), we could meet at my house - there is plenty of street parking. If we end up with double that number, it probably would be better to meet at a parking lot (although it would be cool to see 10+ Zs driving through the neighborhood).

The spot to take pics I was referring to in an earlier post is north of Jasper on RT 136, east of Wheeler cabin Rd. For those who are interested, we can then go further east onto RT 52 to Dahlonega, then RT 60 north where the roads get REALLY twisty and steep.

For me, the earlier it is, the better.

But, since the world isn't centered around me, I'm down for any time throughout the day.

On a side note, who is down for next week's Varsity meet?! I want to caravan down there!

What about this on the 12th? It is certainly something that you ought to do sometime this summer. It is white knuckle driving!

Its a great route. I've driven it. Just a bit of a drive for some folks. That's easily 2+ hours for some guys just to get to.

I drove it last year - it's a blast, but i agree that it might be a long haul for some. The route you suggested is nice too. If you are a skier, I would say that the Georgia Dragon is a black diamond and the one you suggested a blue square.

Nice reference. I'm actually a snowboarder so I know what you mean. We could do the dragon at some point maybe during the summer and have a picnic up at Vogel or somewhere around there. I know Import Atlanta does something like that every once in awhile.

I've done all those roads with my VW/Audi guys for the last 10 yrs!! You'll enjoy it! I also took my Z up there first weekend of ownership! Have fun!!
