Also, I don't really know why I'm not involved more with the Z crowd and such [Not the Huntsville thing]. I think it's mainly a money/time thing... And the fact my car is basically stock and not in the most pristine condition. Though I wouldn't mind taking pictures at an event... but not like anyone would look at my pictures anyways... Haha.

Rgr that. Not singling any one person out. Everyone has their daily lives to tend to and the time they can commit to such events differ. But there are some who complain when pictures are posted of said events from attendees and they ask why they werent invited. In reality I went out personally to a handful local meets to try and draw interest. All I got was crickets. It is what it is. Anyone is welcome to join any events I plan. Just trying to save others the effort of going down a dead end road so to speak.

I have no excuse not to be at next years. If I have a house by them I could let a
Couple Zs use the driveway for a few days. I'm coming down to Gadsden sometime soon so if you guys make a run at any of the b ham stuff let me know. Zbro has my number I think.

Ps. My car is bristling with go pros on the inside. They have keyed it twice while at work. I dare them to do it again.

Well Z Nationals was a blast. Had a great time tracking the Z at Barber. Learned alot. Probably going to go to a more track oriented route with the car.

Who all is going to the last Nashville Cars n Coffee of 2013 next Saturday Nov. 2? If you want to cruise up together let me know. It will be an early AM roll call on a Saturday. Departure time roughly 7am.

I live/work in huntsville. Also ride sportbikes with the TVSC out of Huntsville on sunday mornings. I finally got myself a 370nismo last week. Looking to getting out with some other Z owners in town.

More Z enthusiasts are always welcome! Congrats on picking up the Nismo. I just sold my sport bike this time last year. No one I knew rode anymore and needed a daily. I miss my bike though.

But back to the Z stuff. The locals have turned down there monthly dinner/parking lot meet to a more seasonal approach. Spring/Summer/Fall. The Fall meet is coming up on Sept. 19 at 7:30pm and will be at the Five Guys in Jones Valley. The Facebook group is North Alabama Nissan. Not much chatter on there other than 240sx talk and getting invited to meets mentioned above. I am not sure if I will make it to this one.

The BamaGZ group mostly out of Birmingham is the biggest in the state and goes to Zdayz and Z Nationals. They just did a summer BBQ 2 weeks ago. Facebook group is Bama GZ-R.

Speaking of Z Nationals it is one of the best Z enthusiasts events to attend. Track day/show day/dyno/awards...etc. Something for everyone and plenty of Z's and G's and a few GTR's to look at. It is Oct 10-11. If interested register soon and book a room as they are filling up fast.

Hopefully catch you around town or at one of the events.

I may be making a return to the Huntsville area. Keeping my fingers crossed throughout this week.

If you want to get up early this Saturday... You should come up to Franklin, TN Cars and Coffee this Saturday, 10/4 for EXOTIC CAR SATURDAY. It's at the Carmike Cinema just off I-65 at Cool Springs Blvd. west exit. We've been getting 400 plus cars for this and weather looks perfect. Starts at 8 am until 10 or so. Even Darrell Waltrip showed up last month.

There's a big car show at Cool Springs Galleria mall about a mile away afterwards put on by Battlefield Region AACA. Usually draws 250 cars plus.

I should be there anyway as I have to travel back to TN this weekend to get more stuff from my apartment.

Wish I could make it to the C&C but its the final weekend of prep before the AMP track day for Z Nats. Front suspension is still off the car. Probably make it up for the last of the year November one.

I'm TDY. Haven't been to a Providence meet since July. I missed a couple months back when the RWB Porsche was there.

Any Z cars wanna make the drive up Saturday morning to Cars&Coffee Franklin, TN? The Middle TN Z club was talking about getting a group of Zs together to honor Mr. K (the father of the 240Z) which recently passed away at the young age of 105.

I usually leave the Huntsville area by 6:45am to make it up there before the lot gets packed. Would be nice to show some Z presence from the Huntsville area.

Nissan is working to get several cars from their Heritage Collection there this Saturday, March 7, including Mr. K's yellow 260Z 2+2 which was at my friend's shop (Crawford Z Car Service) last week getting worked on so it could be driven there.

We hope to have a good turnout of Zs from our club as noted above also.

If I get my Z back together in time I would definitely go.

this is in the works for me - I shall do my best, especially since it will be a Mr. K themed event.

Nissan is promoting this at their manufacturing facilities in middle Tennessee (Smyrna and Decherd)and at corporate office in Franklin through their internal messaging system. One of our members copied me on it yesterday.

Will be sunny and cold Sat. morning but turnout should be good nonetheless.
