Someone buy my 370Z. It's sitting at a Maserati dealership in Sarasota. It's a MINT car, never been abused, clutch was always babied. Only standard bolt on mods. If I start telling everyone what I got, then it'll set a false expectation of what the car can be worth traded-in and leave a lot of people disappointed. I've seen this happen in the past with friends who owned Zs in New York...and I'm like "well, I never said you will get that much for your car, that's just what I got for mine"

I got a lot of crappy offers of $22K and $23K from other dealers which I didn't go for (these are black book average auction prices which include cars sold regardless of trim and options). I got $24.5K from another dealer and that was tempting. But the offer Sarasota made me was the best by a good margin - especially considering I had a fully loaded car with only 16K miles on it and the paint didn't even have a swirl mark, the car was showroom clean.

The dealership was also very aggressive on moving cars around and didn't stop until I was happy with the negotiated price of both cars.

So the trade was more than $25K, but less than $28K.
