Im about 40mins away from you.
Z nationals would be your best bet to meet up with the FL Z community.
They have a caravan going to the event. Check with Osiris the female tracker.
He's a Cool guy....you too Huck!

I was touring a newbie at Zday this year...but its all good.

Are there any clubs specially for the Tampa Bay area? Love Orlando and everyone with Zs, but going to O town all the time puts in too much time and mileage to really build a friend base.

waddup AdobePhil.....while there is a Z club based in Tampa called SunCentral....they tend to be mainly the older crowd. Central Florida Z Club has members in Tampa as well; although a lot of our meets have been in O town, we are going to make an effort to have more in Tampa. We have members from South Fl, Brevard county and all over central florida. If you're on fb, check out our club discussion page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/CFZCC/ And our website: CFZC | Best Z Club in Central Florida! CFZC Let me know if you have any questions!

AdobePhil 08-04-2014 02:26 PM

Thanks Osiris. I'm on the FB page already but haven't checked out the website yet! Thanks!

Need off topic advice. I am going deep sea fishing tomorrow, for the very first time in my life LOL.

It will be a 6 hour trip, any tips on what to take with me and what to wear. I was thinking cooler and ice, zip lock bags a towel, sunscreen and water.
Funnily enough, i never wear shorts or t shirts, been a long sleeve and trouser kinda a guy all my life - even before coming here from England.

thanks.

Krazy.1K 08-06-2014 10:55 AM

Take a bug spray, something for motion sickness, take long sleeve just in case, a hat.

Huck 08-06-2014 10:56 AM

Do you get seasick? Maybe some Bonine (spelling?) Would be good. Camera? If you're from england, bring extra sunscreen lol, high SPF. I did a 2.5 hour trip to the Bahamas on a 33' Dusky boat and was really tan at the time. I still got fried. Have fun!

Zdayz 2014!!

Krazy.1K 08-06-2014 10:58 AM

A small towel to put on the back of your neck to protect from sun and keep you cool.

Huck 08-06-2014 11:04 AM

Oh, and a gun to fight off sharks and pirates

Zdayz 2014!!

Osiris 08-06-2014 11:04 AM

Yea, i'd definitely get some Dramamine if you're unsure about getting seasick. Because they will NOT turn the boat around for you!

Huck 08-06-2014 03:58 PM

Haha that's Nikki Good, she was asking me a question when it was taken :)

Zdayz 2014!!

Limeybastard 08-06-2014 04:48 PM

I dont think I suffer from sea sickness, was on a ferry once all the shelfs and plates were falling off the shelves everyone was being sick except for me, but that was like 20 + years ago so maybe things have changed.

I dont think they allow me to take my gun. I was told there is no bugs out in sea, meaning mozzies and nats etc.. Since living here in FL, all the bugs get me. You are all safe around me if I am present.

Aye, damn tru dat. I also saw a women on the east coast recently getting her calf sliced up by a bull shark. There was some pics of it on one of those nasty gruesome websites. DOh.. Which I accidentally clicked on.

Limeybastard 08-07-2014 10:09 PM

Had a smashing time fishing incase you wanted to know caught 4 Groupers, and all 4 were sent back as they were not big enough. Out of the group of 4 people I was the only one that didnt catch shite. I knew fishing was overated.

Huck 08-08-2014 03:59 PM

it's less about fish, more about getting drinking and jumping waves hahaha
