Sat Feb 19th will be street car night at Orlando Speed World. Would love to not be the only Z there. Also would love to see some boosted Z's.

I'll be working on my 60ft to try and get into the 12's. Best so far is 13.4 @106 with a crap 2.2 60ft. I'm going to need a 1.9 to get a 12.8. Wish me luck.

Damn, OSW is right around the corner from me and this would be a great event to reminisce on some high school memories out at the track.

Bummer that I will be out of town! Especially if a Z is going to be running down the 1/4! Hopefully you'll post some pics/vids for some of us to live vicariously through! And good luck!

CFZ Meet up at ACE Cafe Orlando on Feb. 26th at 7pm. Plenty of Z's and other Nissans show for this meet. I'll try to be there with my fiancé and have some beers / check out some rides.

Any South Floridians?

Anyone know any clubs that do Autocross in the Tampa Bay Area, it’s been a few years but I used to go out with FAST, but it looks like they shut down a few years ago. Once it starts cooling down I’d like to get back out there.

Any reputable shops in the Tampa area for the CMC/CSC?

If you want to go down to Bradenton, Panzer performance did mine.

While going through some documents, I came across some stuff pertaining to my previous Z that I traded in. I've always wondered who bought it and what ever happened to the car.

Did anyone buy a 2009 370Z from Courtesy Nissan in Tampa, FL, towards the end of 03/2018? It was a pearl white/sport/touring/nav/auto and had close to 81k miles at the time.

Weighing out my options regarding the CMC/CSC replacement on whether to DIY or take it to a shop. The only shop that specializes in Z's in Tampa seem to be Fever Racing (formerly Z Fever). I've spoken with the owner, Doug, for a few minutes, and he seems to know what he's talking about and told me he does these replacements "all the time". I've read some really good stories, but also some horror/bad things. Has anyone had any experience with them?

If you want someone to work on your car you can trust. I highly recommend Derek and Rita from DRZA in Tavarese, FL. Yes you'll need to drive for about 2 hrs, no they are not cheap, but the peace of mind that comes from knowing your car is the hands of people who really care and know what they are doing is priceless. Plus, you'll see some absolutely wicked Nissan builds while you're there. R34's, R33's, R32's, S13's, S14's, S15's and plenty of Z's from all eras.

Z Fever / Fever Racing, has a shady past according to google.
I'd say its 50/50 whether they do a good job or...not.

Good Luck

Ei Racing. https://eiracing.com/

Different Derek (not sure why all Nissan mechanics are named Derek lol), but wife and I have been using our friend Derek for all our Nissan maintenance since 2009. He is the BEST Nissan mechanic in the country imo. And no that’s not hyperbole, dude can rebuild a gtr dct trans overnight with one hand tied behind his back. (Ok, the one handed part is hyperbole).

Thanks guys! Not so much a financial issue, but rather my car can't go 10 miles without the clutch pedal going soft and losing clutch fluid. And towing it there is going to cost a pretty penny (prob. more than the job itself lol).

And yes, the reviews and horror stories of Fever Racing is what's scaring me :ugh2:

Any chance ya'll want to make a trip to Tampa and help a fellow Z brother? :rofl2:

We need to get Huck and Matt (Osiris) in on this as well. And of course we can’t forget spoiler since he is also now rocking a BMW sports car. :icon17:

I’m sure there’s plenty others I’m forgetting.

Been doing tons of research on shops in Tampa that specialize in Z's/G's. Fever Racing is most likely out of the question, as I've heard/read horror stories about that.

I came across Full Send Motorsports and Performance of Tampa and seeing if anyone had any experience with them. I tried looking at their website and it looks like there is another similar shop but located in GA. I checked out their FB page and it seems like they know what they are doing and mostly positive reviews, but need relevant opinions from those that have work done by them.

So this week some jerk decided he was more important than everyone else and tried to illegally go around me while exiting the gas station (the truck in front of me was carrying glass replacement windows and I knew he wasn’t going to speed out into traffic but I guess the jerk behind me couldn’t wait the extra 30 seconds). So said jerk slammed into my 370Z causing a whole lot of damage. Any recommendations on a quality body shop around Tampa area?
