Welp, went nuts today ordering junk! I just got off the phone with Tony and ordered my stainless Fast Intentions exhaust with 18" resonators (for the wife:) and the Evo R red fog light, plus a full set of red LED lights for inside the car and white LED's for the license plates! Wife might not be too happy but she will not complain when she sees the results:) lolz Shes actually pretty cool with me and my toys, just knows I have to pay for em on my own!

Did you only order the catback or did you also get pipes?

Niche79 01-21-2013 04:02 PM

catback with 18" res. He said try these out first before you change out the cat, this may be as loud as you want etc, if not they have them shipped within a week if I wanted to change it out.

Huck 01-21-2013 08:30 PM

Terri wouldn't be happy with TP's lol, I think you'll be happy with the CBE.

I'm telling you now that ALL of the sound comes from when you replace the cats. Huck's, mine, and just about everyone that has FI exhaust has replaced the cats. You need to take a ride in one of our cars to hear it.

Huck 01-21-2013 09:18 PM

Lol you can't even judge mine too much based on the volume, I have a whole bunch of that gtmat that made a big difference. It's brought it down by maybe 20-30%

yea, but, he still has his stock cats....night and day difference even with your gtmat

Huck 01-22-2013 12:23 AM

Oh yeah that's definitely true. I'm just saying I don't want him to ride in mine and be like "yeah, it's loud but it's livable." then he gets the same thing and it's twice as loud as mine, now him AND Terri both hate me lol.

well time will tell, exhaust first then I can change up if I feel its too weak. Honestly I spent a load of money today so I gotta tone it down a bit, only thing I deff wana order and install before Z days is the stillen G3's. Thats a must have!

Huck, Teri doesnt hate it but said its too loud for our neighborhood lolz. Said they will hate us if I roll up with a loud exhaust! Thats all.

We have a guy across the street and down a bit from us with a harley and it's definitely louder than our lth's with non res CF cbe.

nah man, its a classy sorta high end neighborhood. Mostly snow birds, and stuff own homes in here on the golf course. So we have BMW's, Merc's, and even Aston Martin's here. I have yet to see a motorcycle here at all, mostly older people or in there 50s etc. Were by far the youngest owners in this neighborhood and im 33 and my wife is 32. Not a retirement community, just too expensive for the average joe to afford till they are set up later in life or in a good high paying job.

No worries man. If you roll in @ 1500 rpms on 3rd (~10-15mph) you'll be nice a quiet.

have you met the former Mrs. Tiger Woods yet? I hear she has the gaudy place on the water. lol

Niche79 01-22-2013 03:30 AM

Well maybe ill run across ya one day if your ever in the Kissimmee way of town. Pretty hood down here, lolz. I dont bring the Z out too much during the week as I have 2 other Hondas that I use as DD's to work in Orlando and back. Deff will be installing the Evo R this weekend if its here on time and the new LED's, kinda sucks having to wait forever for the FI exhaust but im sure it will be really worth it!

Where is that and what water, Osceola CNTY is FULL of lakes:) My neighborhood is right on East Lake Toho, the other circle in the neighborhood backs up to it and those big homes have killer views looking out over it. And I thought he was in Windermere, I cant see her wanting to come to Kissimmee. :gtfo2: haha

Welcome, I just got mine at the beginning of the month as well. I already ordered a Fast Intentions exhaust, Evo R fog light, all interior lights to LED's. Oh yah I had to buy OEM floor mats cause there wasnt any when I bought the car and I switched out the door sils for the lighted ones with Cheshire cat. Maybe that can give ya some ideas. I plan to also do stillen CAI's as soon as possible. Still gotta pay the big bills for the money:bowrofl:

I've gone to this the past 2 years in a row because it's only 15min from my place, it actually slipped my mind this year. How many people do you have going? There's also a SCCA autocross on Sunday in Deland.

not quite sure as of yet. me and a buddy of mine are the only confirmed right now and he does not have a z.

LostSol 01-23-2013 06:15 PM

Thanks for the welcome and the info guys!! Cant make it this weekend on such short notice but next one im all in.

As for the suggestions, Im currently stuck deciding between the Invidia Gemini and the Fast Intentions exhaust, I really like the sound of the FI one but my main concern is drone as I suffer from migraines and they can be easily set off by a droning exhaust. Otherwise Ive already ordered new floor mats, a new emblem for the front as the prior owner seems to have tried to paint it and did a piss poor job, and a ProClip phone holder.

nismochiq 01-23-2013 08:46 PM

haha awe! Tell Steph I miss her too! I miss the Z club :( I hope you all are doing well and we need to set up something for future!

FI exhaust with 18" resonators should do nicely for you. I had no resonators with carbon fiber mufflers and I didn't have any drone.

That's quite an accomplishment man, congrats :) I'm sad that I'll probably never have enough money to mod the way I want to and win awards lol

I saw a nicely mod'ed 370Z on I-75 on Friday around 4 PM that took the exit to University Parkway (Exit 213). White with a blackened roof, custom front with LED side markers, red brakes, very sharp looking. Sadly I was the guy in the Honda Odyssey in front of you at the light since I had the family with me. Was wondering if that was anyone on here.

You just have to take your time and do it one piece at a time and you will get there. I have been fortunate having a forgiving wife that allows me to have my toys.

The1michael 02-04-2013 10:13 PM

I was in Oviedo right after I bought my car and spotted a somewhat modded 370 on a backstreet near UCF. I wanted to roll down my window and say something but I just had my windows tinted. Im overseas now, but I saw at least 4 different 370s when I was up there. Good showing  . Would be down for a meet up when I came back in March. Let me know.

LostSol 02-05-2013 11:28 AM

Is there anyone in the Orlando area that does headlight mods? Ive baked headlights on cars before, but those replacements were cheap and 1k per side means I could have a potentially expensive screw up...

Mr&Mrs 02-05-2013 11:30 AM

Look up Nut_N_Much he is in Tampa and can get them turned around pretty quick.
