Has anyone here ever dealt with "Super Tires Online"? Looks like they're selling used performance tires for REALLY good prices and theyre in Tampa and Clearwater.

Dude... That looks like it could be a really good find. They have a 3 month warranty and those Michelin PSS are of the price of new ones with 75%-95% tread left. Not sure how you could go wrong. depending in what you find I'll try that out when my current tires go bald. Although seeing how little I've been able to drive the car the last few months that might take a while.

Looking for some helpful opinions on HFC's. It appears that Berk and F.I. are the best, but I have read some interesting stuff about Invidia, Exoticspeed, and Kinetix also. And, Exoticspeed and Kinetix are 15-20% less in cost.
F.I. takes about 4 weeks to ship - and Berk is taking their time calling me back - but I did find a shop in Texas call MVPMotorSports (on ebay) that stocks Berk parts - and they are about 10% less than Berk's online prices.
Whatever I end up with (for hfc's), the Ark Grip will follow. So take it from there...

Absolutely no questions FI. Made in america and quality stuff. All the others you mentioned, invidia, exocitspeed, kinetix are tiawanese shït that will fall apart quickly.

:iagree: spend the extra few dollars and get the best you can possibly buy, plus get absolute peace of mind. These things fit perfectly and are amazing quality. You literally can't go wrong with Fast Intentions. Give Tony a call

Thanks for the input gentlemen! I called Tony yesterday afternoon - ordered a set of the resonated HFC's. Man...they are PROUD of their product! And it will take 5 weeks to get them! But I know they are worth it.

So now my questions now are...

1) do I tune NOW - or wait until the Ark goes on? (which will be within a month (ish) after the hfc's go on). This is my 2nd breathing mod - gen 3 cai was 1st
2) I'm not on the track - this is my dd... and assuming "UpRev" is the ONLY way to go, what is my best buy package?
- not going tt
- maybe a 100 shot or some mild nos add later, but that's probably all
- so that should do it for performance mods - unless I get some cool epiphany later :-)
3) Headers (I feel) are a waste of money with these excellent exhausts - Yes?

My basic warranty just expired not too long ago - so I am playing catch up with mods now! Whatever experienced advice I can get will be great! Thanks again guys!

Wait until you get ALL the bolt ons you plan to add installed, then tune. Tuning is expensive, and a tune for 1 mod will not do anything crazy.

After you install mods, reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery or doing the peddle method (google) and the car will adjust for the extra airflow.

Uprev is the only tuning option to consider. The standard license is $500 + tuner hourly rates. This gives you up to 5 different maps.

Headers are expensive, install is almost just as expensive. close to $1300 total for about 10whp increase, if that.

Wait until you have all of your mods done before tuning. I have almost the exact same setup you will end up with, and I have to ask, why the Ark Grip instead of the FI exhaust?

If you're not going to go TT, then LTH or your current setup is a good way to go. The only other bolt on that will make measureable power is the Z1 intake manifold. Your golden setup for N/A power is:

Stillen Gen 3 Intakes
Z1 Intake Manifold
F.I. LTHs or HFCs or TPs
Exhaust

Follow that up with a GOOD tune, and you will make more power, it will drive better, and youll get better MPG (that was the biggest surprise to me).

DO NOT USE NITROUS ON A Z. RECIPE FOR DISASTER.

3) Headers (I feel) are a waste of money with these excellent exhausts - Yes?

LTH are the only headers worth the money, specifically the F.I. LTHs, the PPE are decent too.

Mainly - Ark over F.I. - because of the time it takes to get it - the Ark sounds as good (if not better) and I won't have to wait 3 months to get it.

But also because I was thinking I needed to NOT run the car much without a tune, after the hfc install.

Someone (?) told me I would need to change injectors if I went with the manifold swap... didn't research it for myself - but will definitely look into that - now that you mentioned it :-)

I do all my own labor - but I'm not very savvy with all the tech stuff - tuning & all that - never had it old school lol

Well I will give you a few tips, I currently have the Ark Grip, and while it does sound good, I will soon be selling it to get my F.I. exhaust. I do installs on the side for extra cash, and after installing a bunch of different exhausts, I can tell you the build quality and fitment on the F.I. is unbelievably good.

You absolutely do not need to change injectors on this car unless you want to go E85 or Forced Induction, however the Z1 intake manifold is the only bolt on that requires you to tune afterwards.

Dont try to tune it yourself, take it to a reputable shop that is UpRev certified.
