I was shocked he was so sarcastic to a customer but I replied "No, I have a tape measure and I know that my only adjustment on this truck is toe and that can be done with a tape measure." He left me alone after that. It's amazing what service writers try to pull. I used to be one but I never tried to sell a customer something they didn't absolutely need and if you know you have an enthusiast customer (many of my customers were Porsche enthusiast owners), you treat them differently because they actually know what's wrong with their car before they bring it in most of the time.
