Nothing to grafic but are some good ones to look at. BTW if anyone wants to throw these around ill let everyone know on the wwweb that you were just pissed because I wouldnt give into the gay sex you proposed me with. Lol! Its good to have a hacker when u need one.
I can't check them out at work but I will definitely be taking a peak when I get home.

Hopefully it doesn't come back. I had serious issues with the cat 02 on my S2K. I tried everything to fool it and nothing worked. Is your car tuned? I know some tuning systems can turn them off.

FYI: don't come to the Charleston area and think you are going to get aware from the Cops. Cops have shot 2 different people dead in the last few days for being upset over traffic violations.

No my car is not tuned. I didnt really want to get an uprev tune because of the factory warranty. I did find some anti-foulers that come with mini cats in them, lol. Might have to get em if the cel comes back on.

yea uprev gives you the option to turn off specific codes, especially the catalyst efficiency or o2 codes

the way I understand it..... It still reads just turns off the light indicator on the dash so you will be good to go. Plus with a tune you may get a few more ponies. I'm debating whether a packaged e-mail tune from Uprev or buying the full custom version and tuning it with a friend.

a true dyno tune is the best way to go will, several shops in the carolinas do it, not to mention Z1 if you are ever down that way. in charlotte, Cin Motorsports has been getting great numbers out of the VQ's coming through the shop recently. i may be getting them to tune my truck later this year. current list of money down the drain mods/repairs:

1) pay to install and program new TPMS (still waiting on part from japan, no rush tho)
2) clean rear axle vent and do axle vent mod (plastic tube up to behind the taillight where it can't get clogged again) and get pinion seal replaced
3) acquire intake manifold spacer and 6 nissan spark plugs, then install
4) tune the truck using uprev
5) start saving for clutch replacement and hoping it lasts long enough to allow funds in the bank instead of on credit

Down deep I know a custom tune by a professional is the best solution. I'm just trying to be cheap I guess.

Question: Since timing can't be changed, what all are they adjusting with the tune besides AFs, rev limiter, sensors, and maybe idle? I tuned the AF tables, V-tec engagement, and sensors on my S2000 (Hondata Flashpro) a number of times. I can't imagine Uprev being that much different.

If I have to take it to a tuner I will be taking it to to a local shop, AV Tuning and Development. The owner is a friend of mine. He's tuned everything from Hondas to Vipers.

you can adjust timing, i did a 2* bump on my timing when i was at uprev in austin a couple years ago (significantly reducing spark knock at idle instantly). that sounds about right as far as what all you can adjust. the only thing that can't be adjusted (as far as i know) is the VVEL system. an email tune will definitely be better than no tune at all but a true custom dyno tune for your engine and mod setup is the best option

Let me know when you decide to do this. If I keep having trouble with mine then maybe whe can get a two car discount or something. I would much rather drive to Charlotte than to Atlanta.

will do man! the more i think about it, i wouldn't mind going ahead and getting a tune for mine as is (no IMS) and just saving for a VK56 (titan engine) swap down the road. why? bolt ons and a tune should get me at or close to 400whp (which is plenty for my truck) reliably. plus i get the v8 roar

I almost forgot. I spotted a silver 370z base (or base + touring) at Lowes in Summerville. It was parked near the back of the parking lot behind Verizon. Had a flat black roof wrap and tented windows. Looked good! Anyone??????

It will look sick especially if you get your wheel's powder coated gloss black! You need to post some pictures of your car.

BTW.... Where has Matthew been? Loser!
