good talking with you again last night brandon and paul. hope you guys had a good time too.

just a heads up, the pro driver i shoot for in world challenge is coming down january 24th to hang out with me for the weekend. we'll be autox'ing my GXP on the 25th over in clemson then heading straight to Z1, stay in ATL that night and be hanging out with our Z friends there on sunday. maybe we should plan to get together the evening of the 24th to hang out depending on what time he flies in?

Sure, look me up when the time comes. Once I get my exhaust/intake installed I need to head to Z1 and get things tuned up.

What's with the incessant need for the entirety of Greenville county to all go to IHOP on Sunday mornings at 9:00AM? There must be something there that I'm not aware of... I put it in the same category as Carolina Ale House. They aren't really bad places or anything, but they aren't life alteringly good either.

HKYStormFront 01-05-2014 07:29 PM

<--- went to Carolina Ale House for lunch

Like I said, it's not a bad place....but it's nothing I'd write home about.

Beats me :D It's just crazy to me how every time I drive by the entire parking lot is slammed full of people and there's 5 cars waiting to park. Are the pancakes THAT good?

EDIT: My co-workers are saying the pancakes are far better at Cracker Barrel however I can't say I've eaten at one so I have no idea.

HKYStormFront 01-05-2014 09:52 PM

It was hard to talk at our table because they had the game turned up so loud. Granted that's why we went there, to watch the playoff game, but we wanted to talk too... Food is decent but yeah, nothing special.

I have had pancakes at CB and they are great, especially the mixed berry! I have been to IHOP a small number of times in my life and never the one on Woodruff Rd so I really can't say either.

HKYStormFront 01-06-2014 09:25 PM

there's one up by my exit... just throwin' that out there :stirthepot:

phantom370z 01-06-2014 11:20 PM

So I just drove home and it's 12 out....******* 12 degrees. This super cold weather needs to hurry up and go away.

jooonnn 01-07-2014 07:34 AM

I feel like most of the Z drivers here are from upstate! The moment i leave clemson to go to charleston i get a Z and learn what autocross as well - such great timing! Lol

Ps driving was definitely harder this morning on summer tires lol

Correct. I think you were the one I spoke to briefly at the last Cars and Coffee in Greenville though you may not remember it.

Glad to see this thread is still alive and well. Spotted a 10th anniversary today. Made me miss my Z. I hope you guys are doing well. I will check back in at some point.

BTW....I still have a bunch of stock parts if anyone is interested. I will let them go dirt cheap, just come get them. Headers, exhaust, cats, etc.

I got rid of the Z a little less than a year ago. Decided the Z sat way too much and I needed something that I could drive me son around in. I ended up with a 2dr Wrangler. It's fun to play around with and parts are pretty cheap compared to the Z. Eventually I hope to get another S2000 to have a fully functional stable for all types of automotive fun.
