Who's in for a spring install at my place on the 21st? 2 car garage, plenty of space!

If I'm in town, I'm game. I helped Geoff do the springs on his FD. I think we know how to do it now (and how not to)

Ill roll out there with Patrick if nothing is going on with the family. U have everything needed? Ill probably bring my impact tool and sockets at the very least. that thing is a HUGE time saver lol

I have a corded impact wrench and impact sockets. And of course all the hand tools / sockets - just missing the spring compressors which I heard you have

If you bring your own impact wrench we could knock this out in record time lol

Get a can of PB blaster or some other kind of penetrating oil and straight up soak all of the bolts the night before. That will help tremendously.

You have to "buy" a spring compressor from a parts store then return it for a refund when you take it back. That's what they recommend you do.

Zensation 02-03-2015 03:05 PM

yeah I returned my spring compressors. just make sure you get the right kind I had to go back a second time to get the strut mounted spring compressors.

Is anyone off work this Friday or Saturday? I need to get my car to Atlanta and can not find a trailer low enough to get my car onto. Fuel and meals will be provided if anyone can help me out. Basically I need a low rider trailer or someone to follow me down to topspeed motorsports and then haul my sorry but back, lol. I hate to ask but my previous plans fell through.

On another note how has everyone been doing? I need to get out more for sure!

I can go Friday morning. I am planning to go up to Charlotte Friday evening but as long as I'm back mid afternoon that's doable for me

Just let me know where to meet you and when.

Who's on board for a Thursday dinner meet up somewhere? Maybe Quaker this time since we haven't been there in a while? Say 7pm or so?

I didn't see anyone else respond to this, are we a go for Quaker Steak at 7 tomorrow?

HKYStormFront 02-04-2015 12:31 PM

Yeah I've got several friends planning to go. All are welcome :)

Just a fyi if any one is looking for a really good tune on there car I highly, very highly recommend topspeed motor sports out of Alpharetta ga. I don't want to get into the details on the forum. Just trust me. If your car is already tuned, then go get retuned at topspeed and you will know.

Is that specific to Zs or any Nissan? I want to convince the lady to tune her Juke Nismo eventually
