Completely derailing this thread for something not even close to being car related... Does anyone have any recommendations for a wedding photographer in the area? I tricked my SO into saying 'yes' on Friday night and this is #1 on our list after already booking a venue yesterday. Patrick has to have some wedding photog friends, right?

I'll add to the derailment, I sold my Z and got a Frontier Pro4X. 3rd Frontier I've had and I love them. Z was enjoyable but I sorely missed my truck.

At this rate we won't have anyone left....

...no seriously, I hope you like it and didn't opt for the auto.

I know of one, she's not the best I've ever seen but she's not bad either. I don't think she's expensive to hire but I don't know her pricing:

Holy crap! Nice! Must have got a good deal on it, seems like they are giving away Frontiers these days. I'm guessing it's auto because it's a CC pro4x, I don't think they offer those in manual. They did offer the older version Nismo (same thing basically) with a CC in manual and 4wd for like a year or two. I thought about trading mine in on one but decided to hold out and get a car instead. Kinda glad I did, honestly. Still, congrats. Let me know if you want to do any mods, I know all the good tricks and what to avoid

Manual Frontiers are like yeti, particularly the Pro-4X...I wish.

They showed the truck was manual online but when I got there it was auto. I bet they don't bring more than a couple hundred manual Pro-4x trucks to the US.

Patrick - I know you know the mods and I'll be hitting you up. I go by BurninChrome (from my Harley Riding, spark throwing days) on ClubFrontier. I get x plan or whatever you call it pricing and then usually push for a bit more off the deal. They go for volume at Crown so ya gotta buy at the right time. Supposedly there's a diesel coming out which I thought about but I don't want to be pigeon holed into that fuel b/c some places really gouge for it and I really don't need it.

FWIW, I don't plan on leaving this forum the people are great here and I do want to meet up with you guys next time something is arranged.

I have seen a MT one, with my own eyes, so I would imagine it's still possible at the very least.

The group still lets Patrick attend and he has a Frontier too so I don't imagine you'd be banned purely on that basis.

Seeing as at our last meetup that originated on this thread turned out only 1 370 you will be welcome no matter what you drive haha.

Congrats on the Frontier purchase I rode in Patrick's frontier today and it was really nice....I HIGHLY recommend you get with him on his sound system mods because whatever he did sounded PERFECT in that truck.

Yeah they pretty much have to be built to order. I just looked on NissanUSA.com and sure enough, you can still order a CC 4wd with a 6 spd manual. Still, it's $31k and basically has no options except color. You can't get the leather, if one desires that, or anything else really. Just the base Pro4x package, which isn't all together too bad, more on that in a second...

Paul's already heard my stereo but Pro4x come with the Rockford Fosgate system, which sounds pretty good for stock, and is a b!tch to modify from what I've heard. Plus he'd loose the factory Bluetooth integration that they have now. In my truck it made sense, mine had the base CD player with 4 crummy speakers. The Pro4x will have 6 speakers and 2 subs and about 400w of power, it'll rock enough

You can get leather and a sunroof in the Pro-4X with the luxury package HOWEVER...as Nissan likes to do...you can only do the luxury package on the Pro-4X if you have an automatic. Now go figure that one out.

Luxury gives you: leather, power seats, heated mirrors, moonroof, rear fold-down center armrest and the roof rack.

The Rockford Fosgate is decent but I've yet to find a separate control for the sub which is sorely needed.

Yeah I don't think there is one, at least there wasn't in the older versions of the stereo. Thankfully my GXP has one gain adjustment in the trunk on the amp for the rear deck subs. I didn't really have to adjust it when I installed the Polks a few weeks ago, though, thankfully.

I need to decide what I'm going to do about ZDayZ...I've got a room at the lodge for now.

Just because you don't have a Z anymore doesn't mean you can't enjoy ZdayZ... If you decide to unload your reservation though, just post in the ZdayZ Facebook group and someone will be glad to take it off your hands.
