We both want hyper blue! Ravspec will do it if we get 5 guys!
I found 2 others on the wheel thread that wanted hyper blue too :)

Did you get a price from him? If I remember right, the last group buy he did for customer color SLs, the price was pretty high. I might just wait until my tires are worn out then get them powder coated hyper blue. I actually prefer the regular TE over the SL anyways.

3899 plus shipping... He get soooo many people asking about hyper blue and they do the group buy on matte black... There's another one out the for Takata green... HELLO let's either do hyper blue or red... Colors people want on their car!

Those new burning red TEs are sick. Wish they came in 19s.

I agree... I have no clue why Volk does that! They have the hyper blue 18s in stock everywhere... Having an Evo, STI, BRZ etc has got to be the life with choosing wheels!

Personally the Z with 18s for looks wise is not ideal since the wheel wells are huge... Also we need crazy wide crazy low offsets... Ugh this sucks

I really want to do 19x9.5+12 and 19x11+5 but no monoblock wheels come in that low of an offset in the rear....

ClemsonWill 02-08-2013 01:06 PM

Yeah, that's pretty aggresive for the rear.

I think I will just get a 19x9.5+12 for the front and a 19x10.5+12 for the rear and run a 10 or 15mm spacer in the rear.

Ravspec said 4300 for hyper blue TEs includes limited edition black center caps and rays lug nuts (450 value) so not too bad at all.

$4300 is for regular TEs as the SLs don't have center caps. I can't remember how much I paid for my TEs. I thought it was $3500 but the more I think about it, I may have paid more. So $4300 for a custom color seems pretty good.

You are going to have to swap me calipers once you get them. Hyper blue with the red :shakes head: (superman style) ...............Gray would loook much better.:bowrofl: :stirthepot:

I used to think red and blue was not good but I like it...

My first set of Volks in 2004 were like 2300 for a set of TE37s, my 2nd set of LE37s were 2500 in 2006 and my last set I got in 2008 Gloss black TE37 was 3100... The go up every year ugh

Damn a fresh set of RE11s in the front and the front Sway Bar on the tightest setting gave the front end Kung-Fu grip!

The official results aren't in yet but damn I was fast. I must have corded the old set a while back and not have noticed. The nearest competitor in my class was more than 1.2X seconds from my fastest run. That's lightyears in autocross. Each lap I kept on picking up 1/2 a second.

Autocross season is here. This weekend I'm thinking about making the trip to ZMAX for Charlotte's opener. ZMAX is huge with runs in 60+ second range while topping out at 2nd.

If you guys are interested google SCCA CCR (Charlotte Region) or SCR (Columbia Region) to find their home pages and registration links.

Nice! What part of SC are you moving to bro?

FireDan50 02-14-2013 12:07 PM

Gonna be stationed at Shaw AFB; debating on living in Sumter or closer to Columbia.
