Holding the start button down turns off the dash / climate control for a few seconds but the engine doesn't stop :eekdance:

I'm gonna check all the fuses today for the 5th time, I really don't want the hassle of a dealer visit.

Edit: it's an Easter miracle! Took the Juke out to return a redbox and all has been magically fixed

Glad it fixed itself. :happydance:

When it was not working correctly, did you try putting the key in the fobgina?

370inSC, we will get another Z meet together soon. We typically do Thursday evenings occasionally but we're open to suggestions if there are too many schedule conflicts. Due to a tight budget at this moment, I may not be able to join for a few weeks until I start my new job and get some paychecks rolling in. I'm living on ramen and tap water for a little while lol

The Juke doesn't have a fobgina :rofl2:

Isn't your bday coming up very soon? I'd be willing to treat you to a bday dinner, it's a celebration bitches! The ramen life is no fun.

If I'm able to make it, I've got you covered otherwise...assuming you've got the gas money to get there.

I don't need charity, fellas. I appreciate it, greatly. Just trying to minimize spending on everything until I get cash flow going again.

I'm only going to say this once, so listen closely.... DEAL WITH IT.

We can pay for your presence if we so choose, besides if it wasn't for you we'd probably never be organized enough to get anything done around here. :happydance:

I'm down to attend anything local after 5:30

HKYStormFront 04-07-2015 12:17 PM

Well, alright then... How about Quaker this Thursday around 6p with OG Brandon showing up fashionably late, as usual? :stirthepot:

brancky3 04-07-2015 02:17 PM

I'm game for this Thursday.

I'll have to check with OG Brandon and make sure he's ok with you coming... I know y'all have a long going name-beef now. Maybe we need an epic throwdown under the outside 4 post lift to see which Brandon is worthy of the group's affections? I can hum the music from the Spock vs. Kirk battle from The Original Series, if need be.

There's no way I can make it Thursday night, already have plans....the throwdown will have to wait.

HKYStormFront 04-08-2015 09:47 AM

How about next Thursday instead? If we can't have a battle royal of OG Brandon v. New Brandon in a championship prize fight, I'm way less interested in going :stirthepot:

This sounds interesting :-)

But I'm out of town during the week most of the time.

Spring deals? Is that a thing?

HKYStormFront 04-09-2015 08:03 PM

I've never seen any "deals" on tuning. Parts, yes. But not tuning. I'm not even sure I would consider a "deal" on tuning. You get what you pay for, in my experience. Also, I don't know of anyone doing any uprev tuning in SC but there may be someone.

+1......I've never seen any tuning deals....it's just labor really.. The only "deal" I'd consider on tuning would be the "we already tuned your car once but you added a new part" deal :D Or maybe even a "we did a huge install of tons of parts so we're throwing in free labor for the tune" deal

Well... On that note. My stillen cat back exhaust is in the garage. Berk HFC are on there way, as is my typhoon K&N. Gonna roll with that till the end of summer. Then I plan to drop my oil cooler, clutch flywheel & supercharger in. So a deal on a good retune would be nice. I did hear uprev prices are going up in may. Read it somewhere in the forum's. I had planned to go to CIN to get my stuff done (tune and fall stuff goodies) but I hear there not what they use to be. Other then motion lab just down the Rd from CIN.Is there any recommendations near the Columbia area (day trip there tune & back). Thanks

Well Motionlab would easily fit into a day trip from Columbia and I would certainly recommend them.

We still on for Quaker Thursday? Who all thinks they can make it?

brancky3 04-13-2015 06:08 AM

I can make it. Will you be able to make it at 6 all the way from Greer?

I don't know what my schedule is going to be this week yet. I'm going in a bit late today to go directly to a meeting then assuming I will be starting a normal schedule tomorrow. I will post tonight when I get home. I will most likely either get out of work at 6 or 7p and drive straight there. Doesn't mean y'all can't meet at 6 and go on without me till I get there

Yep, heavily oxidized single stage paint with no clear.

I don't have a clue yet if I'll be able to make it, by Wednesday afternoon I should know for sure.

HKYStormFront 04-13-2015 07:17 PM

I'm working till 7p this week, I could be there by ~7:20p or so.

Edit: Ugh, I totally forgot when I posted that earlier that I am off on Thursday so I can be there anytime.

brancky3 04-14-2015 12:24 PM

Is anyone else going besides me and Patrick and possibly the 'imposter' Brandon? :rofl2:

phantom370z 04-14-2015 02:10 PM

So, I was trying to search and quickly find the oil drain plug torque spec for the Juke, since I was under the car and didn't want to get the manual oily, when I came across this *gem*, LOL:

Bad Oil Change

I hate to be a jerk but, If you can't find the oil drain plug...like on the first freaking try...I'm not sure that you need to be changing your own oil.:icon14:

cleanthez 04-14-2015 03:12 PM

Wont be making it Thursday. Last Thursday was my day....killin me....

HKYStormFront 04-14-2015 09:31 PM
