Z Owners,

I’ve been having a unique clutch problem since I bought my Z in July 2011. This is not just another complaint about how notchy/clunky the gearbox is or how it’s hard to shift smooth....

My gearbox/transmission is the same way. And getting it smooth seems to be easier once the engine is warmed up....

I am replacing my gear oil next week with Amsoil synthetic...

@ TypeOne -- Did you replace the CSC (Concentric Slave Cylinder) when you replaced the clutch 10k miles ago? They need to be replaced every time the gearbox is pulled. Good luck getting it back...

I had the dealer look at mine, and they agreed there was a definite problem. They are replacing it sometime this week. Is there anything I should look out for, or make sure they replace? Resurface...
