I don't think 2 quarts in 3,000 miles is normal for a newer car. Most newer cars will never see this much oil burning, esp with only 5 quarts to begin with.

The standard 1 quart per 1,000 miles...

But if they put it on stock, everyone buying a Z would have to pay $500 - $1000 more for the car when not everyone needs it. Typically, only those who go to the track or live in very hot climates....

It might be correct that the 370Z differential doesn't need the friction modifiers in the regular 75-90, but it can't hurt it. I don't think you'll benefit from using the NS version over the regular...

The oil temp issue is not solved on the 2010 as the oil cooler has not changed. Either way, its not as big of a deal as initially thought by many unless you track the car.
