You guys know that 212 or around that is normal operating temp in most vehicles. I understand the concerns OP, but don't be overly concerned with something that is completely normal.

12 on up have a factory water based oil cooler. Earlier models don't have that. Also just an FYI, never buy first model year cars from a new gen release.

When we test fitted, we placed them to the side of my hood and there was unevenness which tells is they wouldn't lay flush/flat once installed. They'd have to be sanded even or filled to lay flush....

The top side quality where the carbon fiber shows is perfect. It's the underside that is questionable more so because they molded a mesh screen over the exposed hole and have a few assembly screws...
