There was a TSB about this. I added the sport spoiler and had the same issue. Got it fixed for free. Now it works 99% of the time. This may be only on 09s but worth a shot.

I would buy a set but if I ever upgrade my brakes, or want to re sell these to someone with a sport they would be really hard to sell. I would have to get an amazing price to buy these at this point...

The one I posted from eBay does not look bad at night. The backup lights and plate lights seem to illuminate it decently. The only issue I had was the picture had a slight bit of graininess to it...

I use a company vehicle in the winter months so the Z does not see salt or snow. In the warmer months such as 40deg+ and saltless roads she is out and I enjoy every minute of it. I could care less...
