Sound is not there when idling, as soon as you move the sound is a constant noise you can't miss. It does not vary by RPM or speed its the same no matter what.

Already have an attorney, the fact that I got a letter from the dealer and had Nissan mail me one as well. stating that they are aware of the issue but have no fix for it makes the 3x law moot.

After Nissan having my car for over 2 weeks I was called today by Nissan and was told the following:

'Nissan is well aware of this noise and there is no fix to date'

So tell me, if it was so 'normal' for the motor to burn a quart of oil every 1k miles why do some people burn 1+ quart and some burn none?

:bowrofl: It is not normal, maybe for Nissan but it is far from Normal. I have bought many new cars and even in 10k miles they didn't burn anywhere near this much oil.
