could be throttle position sensor. I had one that acted up intermittenly on a former car. Most of the time it was no problem, was always worse when hot outside.

That Nissan Ester oil is too expensive. I do Redline syn, also an esther base, direct from Redline is $10.something a quart. Plus like $20 for Jiffy Lube to change the oil is a $70-80 or so total.
