I don't trust RPF1's for excessive track duty. I've seen a lot fail or crack over time when beat on. People run them because they're light, cheap, and replacable when one does fail.

A slip light that stays on usually means that TCS isn't working as it should. Most likely because the pads are worn, or in your case, may have popped loose. I would get them inspected.
