Yeah its definitely very linear. When I test drove the 370Z at Universal City, I went WOT for 1st, 2nd, 3rd to redline on the 101 :D

In all honestly, my G35 6MT felt faster. I'm not going to say...

Completely agree on the fact that any mustang modifications are really good bang for the buck, especially in comparison to our VQ modifications.

Suspension wise its far behind a G/Z. But it can...

Lateral acceleration & braking distances aren't really that indicative of overall handling.

I could throw some sticky tires on my brothers 2008 Mustang GT and a BBK and it would have some...

Intrusive isn't the word I was really trying to use. I was just quoting the other guy.

I just find downshifting / heal & toe too fun. I really, really like the synchro rev match feature. But I...

Again, the 7AT will not be faster than a properly driven manual in any condition, any track. Problem is, finding a 6MT driver than can actually drive the car to its potential isn't that common.

Not really. They are just (obviously) more consistent. The gearing in the 7AT has an advantage in its first two gears but after that, there's no real advantage to the 7AT. Another neat feature is the...

I think a lot of people might find it "invasive" during daily driving because they love the skill of downshifting themselves. When I test drove the 370Z, I was amazed at how great of a feature it...

The E92 M3 is just at home at the track as the 370Z is.

The M3, with an exhaust, drop, & wheels =

The M3 will be much more expensive anyhow, unless someone finds a VERY high milage E92...

They are not competitors to each other. They will get cross-shopped by a few, but not as often as a G37.

The 370Z should have the advantage in performance in almost every aspect. The 335i is a...

Hah, true. The V35 G35s with sport suspension feels identical to the Z33 350Z...just a little heavier.

I guess its the fact that people don't expect a luxury coupe/sedan to handle that well.

Yes, it is safe. But not necessary on a naturally aspirated VQ unless you are tuned for it.

I have a 2006 G35 Coupe 6MT with a tune, and one of my maps is tuned for 100 octane. It does yield a few...

The VQ37VHR has a flat torque line. Meaning that, although peak torque is only reached at around 5000 RPM's, you still have plenty of torque all around.

It's no 335i in terms of low end torque,...

Great powercurve. Most Mustang dyno's would read alot lower for a VQ37VHR (~240-250 whp). But im assuming they have changed the calibration up quiet a bit to simulate a dynojet.

Numbers are just...

The G37 guys are getting pretty good increases with a tune (after they have done most bolt ons). You can expect the same with the 370Z.
