I don’t have the answer for you, but just a word of caution. Since you’ll be removing the flex sections, make sure this is welded ON the car, or at least properly tacked up on the car so that it fits...

Been chasing down power steering leaks for a while. Decided to replace all the lines and simplify the plumbing by running continuous lines from the pump to rack and from rack to cooler. This means...

‘09-‘11 vs ‘12+ coolant reservoirs

No out of the ordinary temp issues. Saw the GK tech swirl kit but noted that some people say the install/extra lines in the tight engine bay are a pain. Seems like pressurized reservoirs are much...

I’ve seen that the pressurized reservoirs don’t benefit (as much at least) from the swirl pot mod. The pressurized reservoir isn’t ‘swirling’ to separate air/water but it’s my understanding that it...

‘09-‘11 vs ‘12+ coolant reservoirs

I was looking into getting a GK tech swirl pot to help reduce temps on my ‘09 370Z. It seems to be the consensus that the newer pressurized reservoirs do not need/benefit from this setup. I think...

The hiss I’ve got is so noticeable every time I decel below ~2500RPM. I’m still convinced there might be parts rattling on decel but I’m going to try and live with it and tell myself it’s normal haha...

What did you do with your Z today V (ON TOPIC DISCUSSION ONLY)

Been tracking down power steering leaks for a while now. Finally decided to just rebuild the system.

New low-pressure 3/8” hose and constant-tension clamps installed from cooler to reservoir, and...

Yep sounds about right. Seems like ART pipes help with the resonance chambers. Haven’t yet looked to see if it still occurs with long tubes but I imagine so.

VQ Hiss or other rattle?

I wonder if the noise is a product of lower quality test pipe (thin wall tube?) or simply due to the straight though non-catted design. Seems like it’s noticeable on resonated test pipes and HFC too...

Hmmm my noise seems more metallic than airy but I suppose it could be the same thing. My test pipes are unresonated so that could make it worse in my case.

The sound will also continue to...

Yes the noise is there all the time.

I found some posts on Reddit and other folks seem to be having similar noises. See my comment on my post. Pretty sure it’s just VQ hiss. Kind of disappointing...

VQ Hiss or other rattle?

Hey all,
My question for those with noticeable VQ hiss… is the VQ hiss a constant hiss on decel or a “burst” of noise. My car would rattle for 30 seconds straight if I was on decel down a long hill...
