I don't think its the ecu. I cleaned off a couple of the spark plugs and it tried to fire, albeit roughly and unsuccessfully... New plugs on order.

Yeah. I even checked with a coil, pulled it out, found a random spark plug laying around, grounded it, and it made a nice spark... Computer still spit out that U1024 code and one about vvel....
