I got the alpine mrp m500 as well so I'll let you know how it goes. I will say that it was a very tight fit and tricky to get in the space in front of the struts.

Seems like a risk of damage or fire? The amp power wire was only a #12 to a 600W amp? Also I would think that eventually those little Bose sub speakers will quit even though he set the gain down....

I just want to clean up the bass and maybe add a little punch so I picked up a Pioneer TS SWX 251 compact sub and an alpine MRP M500 amp. The Pioneer will allow me to keep the cargo cover on as well....

I'm thinking exactly the same thing and so far I've found the Pioneer down fire shallow unit TS SWX251 and the JL Audio CP 108LG W3v3 are two that are low enough to fit under the bar and the cover...

Yup just push up the little release in the middle of the BCM connector and it will pop right out....
