yah sounds like the solenoid is prematurely...

yah sounds like the solenoid is prematurely burning out on some of them. could be just a bad solenoid or as socal mentioned, a stuck pin causing higher (or longer) load on the solenoid's coil. it's...

IPDM appears very easy to replace. just unclip it (or bolt) undo the harness, plug new one in, clip unit it back on. done.

yah, the tune ECM and immobilizer are two different circuits, i think.

would turning the steering wheel a little bit to unlock and then re-introduce the key help at all? you'd need another person...
