The warranty applies on emissions regardless of whether you bought it from nissan or not. Search online for warranty info. And there is lots to read on aftermarket cat options if you search around...

No. Read the warranty. Emissions equipment is treated differently. And you can buy another set of takeoff cats here for cheap. Or buy aftermarket.

You never need to go to that dealer again....
