I know... I went hand tight, saw the shift...

I know... I went hand tight, saw the shift pattern was off, pulled the shift knob off, added the supplied lock tight, screwed it down to where the shift pattern looked good, and let it sit over...

Trust me, you will not get your shift knob turned any further clockwise if you've already destroyed a strap wrench trying.

You need to back-off (counter clockwise) the new...

You need to back-off (counter clockwise) the new shift knob so the logo is lined up to where you want it. Use the supplied thread lock and let it set over night.
