So the only benefit of buying the software myself would be to tune the car myself? Which I obviously don't know how to do. Thanks, that clears that up. I've read there is several different software...

Thanks, that makes sense. It's just like any other software then, Windows, Photoshop, ect. I guess I thought the shop could purchase the software and use it without purchasing a license each time....

What if I don't want to tune it myself? Why should I have to purchase the software? That's what I don't understand...I thought it was just a flat rate for the whole deal.
