I actually ended up unplugging the negative...

I actually ended up unplugging the negative battery terminal for a while which cleared the light, and it hasn't been back in about 200 miles now.

Just to get this straight, you used the red wire coming directly out of the rear of your HU? And this is the 12V wire? I will have to get a tap for that wire...you don't remember what guage tap you...
