No pain, per se, but there is a lot of pressure...

No pain, per se, but there is a lot of pressure felt on your eye as the machine presses down on it to create the flap.

It was scary indeed!

My thought process was "wouldn't it be nice to see first thing in the morning?" With my contacts out or glasses off I am effectively blind. So that was the thought.

I went to one of the best doctors in the DC area...

I went to one of the best doctors in the DC area this summer to have my Lasik procedure done.

There was a machine malfunction.

The machine used to create the flap in my eye didn't make it deep...
