It does attach to the bottom of the bumper, but...

It does attach to the bottom of the bumper, but the lip is designed to mount on the front of the lowest part of the bumper (hard to explain)...

The front of the lip is no lower than the stock...

The front of the lip is no lower than the stock bumper. You will likely scrape the chin spoiler instead of the lip
