It's labeled STOP LAMP in the driver side...

It's labeled STOP LAMP in the driver side footwell fuse box I believe :twocents: There are lots of threads on the subject; I know I've seen pics of the location in at least one of those threads.

It is indeed the same light, but under that scenario (low or sloshing brake fluid) the light comes on steady and does not flash :twocents:

The slip light flashes when the car detects wheel slip, that's all.

VDC off does not turn off all of the traction control nannies. My guess is that your friend heard ABLS kicking in.
