So I got the lock ring off the other shock and used it to resist rotation while I tried to twist off the lower body. No luck… ughhhh

This is on a divorced coilover setup so there aren’t 2 locking collars to use to turn the threaded body. Just the 1 locking collar to tighten against the lower mount. the BC threaded shock body...

Anyone got any tips to remove the coilover lower mount? It’s stuck/seized to the threaded shock body. Don’t want to clamp on the threads to break it loose and damage the threads in the process.
