Even on a regular turbocharged car is not too safe to have cats on. I've heard some stories like the cats material getting sucked into the turbo and destroying it. Some particles even made past that...

nah, just by looking at the pipings and seeing...

nah, just by looking at the pipings and seeing how far the charged air has to travel to the engine i would assume there would be major lag till it actually reaches the engine.
