I really don't think you have to worry about...

I really don't think you have to worry about removing them. I have looked at mine a couple of times & I can't see any build up in them at all.

I checked my FSM & it mentions a filter in the seat cushion or setback motors but it doesn't have a scheduled maint. replacement time. I also checked the service schedule & didn't see anything there....
