spring wont creak, but the pins/assembly might....
spring wont creak, but the pins/assembly might. All the pins are lubed pretty well from the factory.

it seems hit or miss, mine was extremely easy to remove the bottom pin as well, I have run into the issue 3 times now with the bottom pin.
I just installed red6spd's spring for him and the bottom...

the soft pedal at the top is just the travel in the small spring before it hits the point where the pressure plate engages and larger spring expands, I believe it was always there but you couldn't...

It's so weird on some cars the bottom pin is horrible and others it isn't. I just had this issue with chuckd05's as well, the pin did not want to go through the rivet in the bracket on the pedal...

nope thats fine, you can leave it with no spring at all in fact. The point of replacing the spring is to get rid of the "dead" pedal at the top and to add the lateral support back that the stock...
