I don't know how much these cost. i didn't even know Sam locked the maps. My tuner said he can tune my car for about $200, assuming Sam's maps required a little tweaking.

Only if they are an Uprev tuner. I suggest you use the GTM base maps and tweak them if need be by a tuner.

The tuning part is the same for all cars no matter which country it's from. If Sam already as a ROM for your ECU part number then he can send you the map and you upload it straight away. Tuning done!...
