From what I understand, it does not come with a Y-pipe. You can buy the Y-pipe from them though if you want. Basically that exhaust comes with no Y-pipe.

That is probably one of the cheapest options that I can find. I may even just try that exhaust out and see how it works...

Why not design an all around kit that will fit...
Why not design an all around kit that will fit the OEM exhaust setup. Then design your own exhaust on top of it? Or give buyers to buy the mid-pipe + short tail from a different source.

From what I have seen, many of the high-end...
From what I have seen, many of the high-end exhaust uses the stock Y-pipe design. This could be the reason why most people stay away from them because they go for 3000+++.
