I'm intermittently experiencing similar issues...

I'm intermittently experiencing similar issues but different Pcode.
Car goes to idle and has no throttle response. Getting a P1608.
Disconnecting battery clears the code and car seems to run fine...

Why not just use scotchguard?

I bought a can at Autozone. I give my seats a light spray every 6 months or so. Didn't discolor or change the feel of the fabric that I noticed.
