Mike, Your right there are a lot of quality issues with his stuff besides the long long time it takes to ever get a part. But I did the install as listed and it just isnt a great way to secure them....

I had the same issues and was not happy with the fit and finish. They didnt fit tight and the tape and glue tended to let go and lift a bit. Good luck, but you might consider just a double back tape...

Mine was the standard sized, not the hvy duty, from Stillen. Fit was fine after slight adjust of bracket w/o flipping the dampener, and oil temp dropped plus oil capacity went up!!
