I can confirm that packing the mechanisms with bearing grease works to stop the rattle, will see if the noise comes back in time but so far so good!

Speakers are Hertz HSK165XLs. I’m very surprised as well- I was expecting it to be a ground loop or noise induced from the fuel pump via wiring- not ECU noise through the crossover!

It's a bit more of a pain on the Australian model...

It's a bit more of a pain on the Australian model due to the pop up hood sensors and hoses for the headlight washers, plus I have DRLs so need to pull out the fender liners to unplug those as well.

I'm not keen on having to remove the bumper every time I clean the filter. I'd rather build an airbox around a shorter intake like this one (or the Stillen G2, etc).
