However, I do need to stress that this only works with US spec cars. We are trying to create a UK/European version for the GTR...

Yes the price would be the same. Believe it or not there is actually more wires involved with the 370z kit (probably adds 10-15 minutes to the time to make) but I would keep the price the same.

I would remove the harness and allow the dealer to do what they do and then put the harness back afterwards. It is very easy I would probably remove it in the parking lot of the dealer just in case...
