So, this may be a stupid question but here goes:

Is my/my girlfriends 2010 z supposed to make any kind of a "chime" or "beep" when unlocking with the FOB?

I know the single beep for each door...

I completely understand what you mean. I used to have a c5 that had the Bose and it was horrible. After research I found that the only thing that made it bose was 2 out of the 8 speakers in the car.....
